Live Stream Event to support WHO’s Covid-19 Fund
We at Imaginears Club were beyond impressed with the Minecraft Theme Park community coming together to support a great cause. We believe we should do our part, too.
We are blessed to have an infrastructure that means we have scalability, but also low cost. As our bills are paid, we’d like to give back.
Part of the way we’re helping, of course, is offering our server to families from around the world to escape, have fun, and enjoy some rides and attractions. All in a digital world without the need to socially distance. We’ve been so overwhelmed with the positive messages and happy Guests and would like to share that happiness and HOPE with even more folks.
Starting today, and going through our day long stream, 100% of all contributions made to Imaginears Club will go directly to the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and the Orlando Second Harvest Food Bank.
And hey! If all goes well, we may even stretch it out past the 24 hours we have planned.
Join us, starting tomorrow at 10am EST, for a 24 hour live stream on our YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/imaginearsclub
We will have lots to do, enjoy some rides, talk about our history, share Guest’s stories, and even invite along some Special Guests. You never know what might happen!
We hope to see you all there!
Stay tuned to this page and our social media as we announce Special Guests as well as fellow servers joining us as partners.
Whether we raise $100 or $1000 or more, every penny of your generosity is important and we will be happy to say your name, out loud, on the stream. Every one of you will be treated as equals. No matter your contribution.
Once again, we are so blessed to have all of you on our “little server that could” and welcome all of you to join us tomorrow for a fun and interesting event.
If you would like to contribute today, you can use one of the following links:

Winds in the east, mist coming in, Like somethin’ is brewin’, about to begin.
When the ‘Minecraft Theme Park’ community was created, it was meant to be a safe space for kids and families to play, have fun, and be safe. A happy place, free from personal information sharing, negativity and trolling. That is still the goal.
To date, that focus has worked. We have proven the model. It started 10 years ago, hidden in the back of a massive Creative map. That’s where the first Minecraft Water Park was created. Back then, it was obvious folks wanted something wholesome.
Then, in a rush of excitement and spontaneity, a train station was put on one end of a road and a castle on the other. And so was born the very first Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom (and 1st actual Theme Park) in the history of Minecraft.
In the years that have followed, we have all seen the ‘Minecraft Theme Park’ community grow, flourish and expand. To date, if you use those search terms, you get 12 million results.
10 years is an amazing run for any game. Let alone something as niche as we’ve created. We have all been so lucky to find friendships, relationships, jobs, careers, and memories through the past decade together.
There are so many positive moments to choose from:
- Minecon 2012
- YouCubed
- Passing 1 million unique Guests
- PaxEast
- RobPlays
- Guinness Book of World Records
- Our Cast Members becoming real Cast Members
- Numerous published news stories
- Multiple podcasts
- 2 marriages
- and more!
Every single item above was a first for the servers we created. Every single one an important moment in the lives of our Cast Members and Guests, alike. We have helped shape so many of your lives, given so much to everyone and we’re so proud of that legacy. It will live in all our hearts for generations to come.
“It takes a lot of money to make these dreams come true.” – Walt
Although we have taken some small contributions to assist in server costs, we have also debated the need for it. When this community started, it was originally intended to be 100% free. Sadly, server costs, popularity and events led to us taking contributions. Still, we made a rule: Nothing over $20 EVER! We have kept that promise. We have worked hard to avoid this turning into some corporate reality and keep you from feeling like you are being ripped off or nickle and dimed.
We know many of you understand that this does cost money. However, we have not bothered asking for or pushing contributions in months. Instead we have covered the costs internally. It was a test and it worked. We’re able to offer the same experience at a very low cost to ourselves without sacrificing quality. Moving forward we are considering alternative options for funds, but for now we’re able to cover it.
What others do to raise funds is up to them. We’re not judging, blaming or shaming anyone. Other servers may continue doing things the way they feel necessary. We’re not calling them out, dissing them or anything negative.
I want everyone to succeed. There’s room for all kinds of MAGIC. No one at Imaginears Club is here to be a gatekeeper. Nor should anyone be gatekeeping others. Everyone is and should be WELCOMED.
That said, we want to set this community on its heals. Mix it up. Give it a boost. Push it to change for the better.
And so, like any good series: It’s time for a reboot.
As Imaginears Club moves into the future, we’re embracing much needed change. For years, now, we’ve been working behind the scenes on other content. Content many others have also announced, after finding out what we have planned. (We love motivating others. Our ideas work, so why not?!) We are moving forward with those previously decided plans in the coming months. Although we’re not releasing exactly everything we have planned, today, you will be hearing about it soon enough. As a hint, the projects include a much larger media presence, a broader spectrum of content and creations and historical perspective that no other server will be able to compile or offer.
Now, as we progress into a new chapter, we feel we owe the community something that gave us so much. As our way of thanking all of you for joining us for all these years, we’d like to offer you a gift. A token of our appreciation.
So, when Imaginears Club finishes its Magic Kingdom map, we’ll be offering it for free as a public download for anyone to use as they wish.
Yes, you heard right: You will be able to download our Magic Kingdom map to do with as you please.
Although we are not restricting the map, we are going to release it without our plugins. (We will likely also not be including Command Blocks with intact data.)
What will be included?
- Map with Contemporary Resort, TTC and the Magic Kingdom
- Imaginears Club Resource Pack
Other than that, there are no restrictions and no catch. You get the full map, for free, to do as you please. We know tons of you will open servers using the map and we’re fine with that. Go crazy! Have fun! Invite your friends. Be your own Walt! In fact, if you like, you can get a server from our good friends at MCPro to host it on. Creative? Survival? Doesn’t matter to us. That’s up to you. Do with it as you wish.
But why?
Because you deserve it! Also, because we realize it’s time to move on from pretending we’re the owners of Disney’s IP and that, although we’re not done and have a lot planned for the future – ultimately, the Minecraft Disney Theme Park community is far too saturated. It peaked years ago. There’s plenty of creativity still happening, but the progress we were used to has stagnated. Partially limited by the tools we have at our disposal and also because so many have done the same thing. We’ve also seen an unfortunate increase in servers not adhering to the ‘Guests 1st’ mantra or being Family Friendly. We’re proud to have influenced so many, pushed boundaries and helped improve the experience for Guests on all servers. Now, we hope this gift will force much needed change.
Although some will argue it, the fact is that this community is slowing down. We’re ok with that. As we said, 10 years is a long time. We did what we set out to do. We changed, improved, and added a little MAGIC to a game of blocks. For that, we were rewarded with you, our valued Guests (plus a few World Records, VIP events and more. ?).
As it stands, we will continue to offer the map on our server, complete with plugins, rides, shows and more, updating it and adding new features, so you can get the full experience and remain within the community, if you choose to. We do plan on continuing with the other Parks, Attractions and Resorts, too.
We’re very excited to see what you folks can do with the map. We’re sure there will be new and interesting interpretations of the rides, shows and other features. Feel free to share your edits and improvements on social media.
We will announce the date of the download, soon. (As of today, we are at about 95% completion). Until then, you can keep up on the progress on our server: iears.us
We hope you will all enjoy this gift. It’s the best Magic Kingdom that’s ever been created in Minecraft. The most feature-rich, up-to-date, detailed, accurate and MAGICAL map ever built. Hundreds poured their love into every block and it shows. We know you will enjoy it.
Make sure to follow us, subscribe to our channels, and visit our server for more updates. We have so much planned. We’re so excited for the future.
Thanks and have a MAGICAL day!

About our CUBED! booth.
As with any good attraction, there needs to be a story. Here is the legend behind our booth:
Kalcyons from the Omega Sector have traveled to Earth, finding Humans left it centuries ago for a cleaner world. Fascinated by the human need for entertainment, a concept Kalcyons know nothing about, they begin to restore Earth and its monuments.
Their first project: Walt Disney World
They begin rebuilding snippets of the Walt Disney World history by resurrecting important moments from its timeline and putting them on display in their version of a Museum. Beginning with a brief visual history and culminating with Cinderella Castle, they created a walk-through “Ride” for visitors to tour and learn– but, most importantly, to have fun!
Also found in the booth is a bouncy-house for unlimited jumping, 2 parkours, and a towering lounge building with incredible 360 degree views of the event hall. You might also find a few secret areas. in fact…
Our honored hosts have also brought a piece of their own home to Earth in order to survive and recharge. You will find it on the corner, appearing very “alien?”.
The Kalcyons welcome you to the past and invite you to embrace, or even change, the future.
How the story ends is up to YOU!

Early Access, Creative and Passholder information
We have so much news to share, so let’s get right into it:
EARLY ACCESS
All early contributors will get access to our Magic Kingdom park, as well as the Contemporary Resort and TTC. This will be relatively unrestricted access for you to view the builds as they are completed, help us with rides and shows and get to know the beauty of this all new park using the latest technologies and blocks.
We refuse to use Barrier Blocks (other than for floating items) on this server so #EarlyAccess Guests will have relatively full access. We think barriers are intrusive and you will never find them in queues or walkways. However, we may decide (while construction is going on) to raise walls in order to keep Guests safe from falling or getting stuck.
As with all of our servers, you must ENABLE Resource Packs in your server menu for our server. Otherwise, things might look a bit odd.
Please note, your access will be limited in that the parks are not 100% finished. We ask you be patient, please, as we complete everything. Also, some buildings and areas are complete, just not added to the parks, yet. We will be pasting them in soon.
CREATIVE
We are opening on November 9th to all Guests with full access our Creative server. A great place to show your skills, converse with other Guests and get to know our Cast Members.
Here are some things to know about Creative and how it works.
- Creative’s map is a vanilla world. That means hills, trees, water, oceans, and more!
- You will be able to section out a portion of the map for yourself, versus having just a tiny square block.
- We will offer protections for your area, plus you can add or remove anyone from your area to help you build. You can also have neighbors!
- Warps and Worldedit will be offered to areas that have a significant build. Contact a Cast Member, after you have completed a decent amount, about how to do that.
- Rules and more for Creative can be found on our Creative page HERE.
Again, as with all of our servers, you must ENABLE Resource Packs in your server menu for our server. Otherwise, things might look a bit odd.
Guests can access the server by adding iears.us to their server menu!
PASSHOLDERS
We’re proud to announce our long-awaited Passholder Program! Contributors are an incredible gift and help us to enhance and expand the MAGIC for ALL our valued Guests. Each Contributor will get the following, based on their choice of variant. (Note: Each is a one-time contribution. Imaginears Club is not a subscription-based or loot-box style server. When you contribute, your benefits remain the same or are increased!)
- Silver – $5 – Currency boost of 1.5x (meaning per ride economy will rise 1.5 times more than other Guests), Private Party Access (special events), Insider Secrets (special info before anyone else), Free Gifts (given out periodically through the year!),
- Gold – $10 – Currency boost of 2.0x (meaning per ride economy will rise 2 times more than other Guests), Private Party Access (special events), Insider Secrets (special info before anyone else), Free Gifts (given out periodically through the year!),
- Platinum – $15 – Currency boost of 2.5x (meaning per ride economy will rise 2.5 times more than other Guests), Private Party Access (special events), Insider Secrets (special info before anyone else), Special Discord Channel, Free Gifts (given out periodically through the year!), Dine with a Manager or Cast Member of your choice,
- Platinum+ – $20 – Currency boost of 3.0x (meaning per ride economy will rise 3 times more than other Guests), Private Party Access (special events), Insider Secrets (special info before anyone else), Special Discord Channel, Free Gifts (given out periodically through the year!), Dine with a Manager or Cast Member of your choice, Backstage Tours
Remember, these benefits will increase, as time goes on, with more being added soon. As we progress and open new rides, shows and more parks, you will see more benefits added to each Variant. Expect at least 2 items to be added in the month!
In fact, one item coming soon will be access to MyImaginearsClub on the website. Soon after, we will be adding Resort benefits, like free rooms or extended stay!
You can now use http://store.imaginears.club to access our Passholder variants! We’re extending Platinum+ to early contributors until 12am tonight, so get yours now and you get early access to the Magic Kingdom.
Phew! That was alot! We hope you are as excited as we are and look forward to welcoming you ALL.
Have a MAGICAL day!

Progress Update
Cast Members have all been working extra hard to make sure Imaginears Club is completed for our Guests. We’ve been racing the clock to open on November 9th so that everyone can enjoy the new park, resorts and more.
Still, even after all their amazing work, the loss of our Owner for the past 3 weeks has led to a significant drop in completions. Without the ability to be online during his move, work has slowed a bit. Due to this, we’ve made the difficult decision to push back our opening by one month. We’re truly sorry for the delay. However, there is a lot of good that comes with this.
First, we are allowing our original Contributors to access Imaginears Club on (or before) November 9th. They will be on to help us do ride testing, give us input on the surroundings, and help us secure the Magic Kingdom, prior to our actual opening. They will get a first-hand view of our building process, seeing rides, shows and more as they are being constructed or finished.
Second, we will open Creative on November 9th to give ALL our Guests a place to play and congregate and show off their skills. This will also be a great test for our Cast Members in getting to know all of you and train them on best practices.
Third, it will give us more time for the developers to finish their projects like Magic Bands, Resort reservations, ride systems and more.
Finally, we will have a social server, built by our Cast Members, to celebrate the holidays.
We hope you understand why we’re doing this and are patient as the parks continue to grow, expand and develop. We are sure you will be pleased with the result.
As a bonus, any Guest who contributes from this day forward will also get access 1 week after our first contributors. So you will have full early access and only have to wait 1 week past November 9th, if you contribute today at https://paypal.me/imaginearsclub
As a secondary bonus, we will be opening applications on November 9th with hiring taking place over the following weeks.
For now, look forward to a new December holiday opening date— to be announced, shortly.
Thanks and have a MAGICAL DAY!

MagicalDreams joins the Imaginears Club Team!
Since the very beginning, our primary goal has been to strive for a family friendly, safe environment where all ages can come together to have fun & explore the magic of Disney. Throughout the years, we have recreated the Walt Disney World Resort with functioning rides, shows, and much more! Recently, we’ve begun to ask the question, “why stop with just Disney World?” which is why today, we would like to announce that our partner server, MagicalDreams is now officially a part of Imaginears Club!
Joining forces with the team at MagicalDreams will be a massive stepping stone to create a place where magic & memories are made in a safe and secure fashion, now with both Walt Disney World Resort, and Disneyland Resort! Imaginears Club is built around the idea that if you cannot make it to the real parks, you can still enjoy them at home, and on Minecraft. Whether it be meeting characters, watching shows, riding rides, or even eating delicious Mickey ice cream! We find it crucial to deliver the most enchanting experiences possible, all from the comfort of your own home.
With the coming of massive changes, we plan on growing bigger than we ever have before, protecting our vision of a family friendly environment but on a much larger scale; Walt Disney World and Disneyland meticulously recreated. A place where both kids & parents can come to play and make magical memories that will last for a lifetime.
We’re extremely excited for you to see what we have in store for Disneyland, but first we need to make sure everything is ready for guests to explore the park! We’ll keep you updated on our progress, and we look forward to seeing you all in Disneyland in the near future!

The Dashboard Update
“The Dashboard Update” has been in the works for quite some time now. I started planning it back in May of 2015, and started work on it one year later. Obviously, it’s been something I’ve been waiting to release for a while. But, you probably haven’t noticed too many changes. Most of the modifications made in this update were actually made in the back-end, or behind the scenes.
The main goal of this update was to increase the performance of the servers and, ultimately, reduce the amount of times our servers crash. Another was that if a server did crash, the majority of the network would remain online and accessible. So, what was changed?
BungeeCord
For those that don’t know, a BungeeCord server isn’t a plugin, mod or something you install onto a Minecraft server. It’s something that runs on its own and connects other Minecraft servers together. So, when you connect to imaginears.club, you’re connected to a BungeeCord server which, in turn, connects you to TTC, MK, etc.
Imaginears Club used to run off of one BungeeCord server. We never really had issues with handling too many players on our one BungeeCord. In fact, we had over 700 players online once at our January 2016 Public Meeting! But there were still some problems with the way our network was setup. Depending on one BungeeCord server to handle your entire player base is okay for smaller networks, but as you grow and expand, the chances of one of those servers going offline increases. If you have 250 people online and your one connection source (Bungee) goes offline, everyone gets disconnected and waits for service to return. But, what if we could have multiple instances of BungeeCord running?
One of the changes made in this update was the ability for us to use more than one BungeeCord while still connecting everyone’s chat, warping, etc. We currently have two running and, if one goes offline, half of the network still stays connected. Now you might be part of the unlucky group that gets disconnected, but keeping half of the players connected is better than none.
Connecting BungeeCords was a lot more difficult than it might seem because, by nature, BungeeCords aren’t built for “talking” to each other. Their only purpose is to connect a player to a server. To overcome this we created a separate process known as Dashboard (where this update gets its name!) which enables BungeeCords to talk to each other now. Now, if you’re on Bungee 1 and say “Hello!” in chat, players on Bungee 2 will still see it.
Again, you wouldn’t have really noticed any of these changes unless you read this post, which is why they’re considered back-end updates and improvements.
TL;DR: Expect less server downtime in the future
Audio Server
Although only a few changes were made to the Audio Server, I’ll still explain what they were. The old Audio Server used to connect directly to BungeeCord which is why it always crashed after BungeeCord restarted. However, with this update, we can have more than one Bungee. This was a problem for the old code for the Audio Server since it now had more than one place to connect to. Since Dashboard connected all BungeeCords together so they could talk, it also connected the Audio Server. This means that if you get disconnected because of a server crash, the Audio Server will still stay online!
TL;DR: The Audio Server shall (almost) never go offline again!
Multiple Park Servers
If 120 players are on the MK server at our Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and, all of a sudden, MK crashes, all 120 players will be sent to the TTC at one time. This can be a bit overwhelming to TTC since each of those new connections require the server to fetch data from the database. (info like your balance, rank, inventory, etc.) The database is built to handle all of this information-fetching, but TTC has trouble making all of the requests to the database. This can cause TTC to crash and send all 120 players to the Arcade which is the definite fallback server and can handle a load of players connecting at once. But, if you’re on a Park server and it goes offline, we want to keep you in the Parks instead of sending you to the Arcade every time.
To combat this issue, like Bungee, we added the ability to duplicate Park servers. What this means is we can have 2 TTC servers and load-balance between the two. When you connect to Imaginears Club, you’re sent to the TTC server with the least amount of players on it. (type /whereami in-game to find which one you were sent to) This also means that, when MK goes offline again, those 120 players are split between the 2 available TTC servers, each getting 60 of the players. We can also add a 3rd TTC, 4th TTC, etc. however it isn’t necessary right now. (Tip: Connect directly to a specific TTC with /join ttc[number], so /join ttc2 sends you to the 2nd one)
We also now have the availability to split up servers other than TTC like MK and Epcot. However, doing this would make it more difficult for players to meet up with each other at warps, so we have no plans on doing that any time soon.
TL;DR: Joining Imaginears Club should be quicker, and server crashes won’t disconnect you. (most of the time)
Other Improvements and Additions
Unlike the previous two topics, there were some things added during this update that you can see! One of them was a new command: /chat. This command allows you to choose which channel of chat you want to speak in. Guests have the ability to choose between all and party.
If you’re in a party with some of your friends, typing /pchat before each message can get a little repetitive and annoying. Now, if you type /chat party, everything message you type will automatically be sent to party chat! You don’t have to worry about typing /pchat before each message anymore. Note: Commands are not sent through party chat. If you choose the party channel and type /warp castle, you will still be warped to the Castle. To return to typing in main chat, type /chat all.
Another new feature everyone has experienced already was the Welcome Tutorial. Even if you’ve been playing Imaginears Club since the beginning, you still have to go through the tutorial. (Even Cast Members have to go through it!) It’s a 60-second tutorial which goes over the basic features you can use on Imaginears Club such as the Resource Pack, Audio Server, and MagicBand, and explains how to travel to different Parks and Servers. If you haven’t been on since The Dashboard Update was released (October 9th), or are a new Guest, expect a tutorial on your next connection!
I feel like I’d be skipping out on a change if I didn’t mention this, but the -> seen in private messages is now green 😛
TL;DR: /chat, a tutorial, and a new color for the private message arrow
That’s all for now, thanks for reading the update! As you can see, a lot of work went into the development, testing and release of Dashboard, and I’m really happy to finally release it. We did experience some weird glitches and bugs here and there over the first few days, but that’s always going to happen with new software. Thanks again, and have a great day!
P.S. Don’t think we forgot about MyImaginears Club 😉

Pixie Dust Shootout Returns
After a long time hiding in the corners of the Arcade, Pixie Dust Shootout is finally making its return! This is one of a few new games coming to the Arcade server in celebration of our 5th Anniversary!
Right now, we have 2 classic maps from the old game (Endor and Wonderland) as well as a brand new map (Nemo). Our team is already working on more maps; they will be changed regularly!
It’s been so long since this game was last playable, most of our current Guests don’t know what it is or how to play it. So, here’s an explanation of how the game works:
- When you join, you can choose to join either the Yellow team or the Purple team.
- If you don’t choose a team, you’ll be sorted onto one when the game starts.
- After the game starts, you get a Pixie Wand to shoot Pixie Dust at the other team!
- Once you shoot, you have to wait a certain amount of time to shoot again.
- This time can be changed by purchasing different delays at the Shop Manager in the Arcade.
- During the game, you can launch yourself into the air by double-pressing the space bar.
- You’re limited to a certain amount of double jumps during the game, so use them wisely!
- Get double-jumps by purchasing more to start with at the Shop Manager in the Arcade.
- Power-Ups spawn throughout the game. Here’s the different kinds you can get:
- Extra Double Jump: Exactly what it says.
- Launch: When activated, launch the opposing team into the sky!
- Seeker: Next time you shoot, it targets the nearest opposing player for you!
- Here’s how you earn money:
- $1 for every 2 players you hit
- $1 each time a Power-Up is used
- $5 for being on the winning team
- The first team to 50 hits wins!
That’s how the game works. You can play now by visiting the Arcade (/join Arcade) and going to the Pixie Dust Shootout lobby (/hub pixie). Have fun!
